Pars Medicine provides a variety of dedicated spaces for students to study, collaborate, and recharge. From quiet individual study rooms to collaborative group spaces and comfortable lounges, we offer environments to suit every learning style and need.
All spaces are:

Main Student Lounge
Location: Medical Education Building, 1st Floor
Hours: 24/7 with student ID card access
Capacity: 80 students

Location: Medical Education Building, Lower Level
Capacity: 10 individual rooms

Graduate Student Work Area
Location: Research Building, 5th Floor
Who Can Use: MPH, PhD, and MBA students

Medical Student Study Hall
Location: Basic Sciences Building, 3rd Floor
Who Can Use: Medical students (MD, MD/PhD)

Clinical Skills Practice Rooms
Location: Clinical Skills Center, 1st Floor
Who Can Use: All health professions students

Reservation: Required - book via Clinical Skills portal
Outdoor Study Terrace
Location: Medical Education Building, Rooftop
Seasonal: Open April - October

Usage Policies & Etiquette
General Rules
- Valid student ID required for access
- Respect noise level designations (quiet, moderate, social)
- Clean up after yourself - put trash in bins
- Return board games and equipment to proper locations
- Do not move furniture between rooms
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages allowed (no alcohol)
- Be considerate of others - use headphones for audio
Study Room Reservations
- Check in within 15 minutes of reservation or lose the room
- Cancel unused reservations at least 2 hours in advance
- Maximum 2 reservations per week during exam periods
- Violations may result in suspension of reservation privileges

- Do not leave valuables unattended

Monday Meditation (12pm)
Guided mindfulness meditation session in the Wellness Corner. All levels welcome.

Yoga, stretching, or fitness classes. Mats provided.
Thursday Study Break (3pm)
Free snacks, games, and socializing during afternoon study break.

Online Reservation System

- Log in with your Pars Medicine credentials
- Browse available rooms by date/time
- Select room and time slot
- Provide purpose of use (individual study, group meeting, etc.)
- Receive confirmation email with room details

Walk-In Availability
Check the digital display boards outside study room areas to see immediate availability. Swipe your student ID at the room door to claim an unreserved room.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I leave my belongings in the lounge overnight?
Small items left overnight are subject to removal by cleaning staff. Use lockers for secure storage. Pars Medicine is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Are study rooms available during breaks and holidays?
Yes, most study rooms remain accessible 24/7 even during university breaks. Some specialized spaces may have reduced hours - check the online calendar.
Can I bring guests to student spaces?
Students may bring up to 2 guests with them to the Main Lounge. Guests must be accompanied by the student at all times. Study rooms are for Pars Medicine students only.
What if a reserved study room is occupied when I arrive?
Check in at the front desk or contact Campus Security (555-123-4911). They will assist in clearing the room if someone is using it without a reservation.
Can I reserve a study room for a whole day?
Individual students are limited to 3-4 hours per day to ensure fair access. Registered student organizations may request extended reservations for official events.
